Thea – Face Renew Skin Brightening System

Thea – Face Renew Skin Brightening System

I was recently sent a sample of Face Renew Fruit Enzyme Creme Cleanser* and Creme Moisturiser* from organic skincare brand Thea, these are from their Skin Brightening System range which aims to brighten and revive dull skin using a blend of fruit enzyme extracts. The fruit enzymes gently exfoliate the skin without the need for exfoliating scrubs or other harsh products. The samples I got to try were quite small, just 15ml each. Both of the products are a thick off-white cream with a strong lemony scent – they felt a bit like rubbing lemon cheesecake over your face! Timeless Truth – Face Masks

Timeless Truth – Face Masks

I was actually sent these sheet face masks ages ago but it’s taken me until now to get round to reviewing them. There are holes for the eyes, nose and mouth so you can still see and breathe. They’re probably a little bit quicker to apply than a...

Jason – Apricot Scrubble Face Scrub

Jason – Apricot Scrubble Face Scrub

Brightening Apricot Scrubble face scrub is the last of the Jason skincare products that I have been trying over the past couple of weeks and it gets a bit of a mixed reaction from me. The face scrub is a pale beige colour and it has a lovely gentle Summery apricot scent. The grains of ‘triple refined Walnut Powder’ are very large compared with the grains in most of the other face exfoliators that I have tried and feel rather harsh and scratchy on the skin. It does leave my skin feeling lovely and soft after use, but then a couple of hours later I get an oily breakout which I can only think must be caused by over-stimulation from the harsh walnut grains. Although my experiences of using Jason Apricot Scrubble have been mixed I am continuing to use it once a week as it does leave my skin feeling smooth, but I definitely wouldn’t use it any more often due to the harshness of the grains. It would probably...
