Salcura Body Hydrator Review

I only discovered natural skincare brand Salcura a few months ago when they sent me some products from their Antiac range for acne-prone skin. Since then I’ve also reviewed their Sensitive & Dry Scalp Shampoo & Conditioner and today I will be talking about Salcura Body Hydrator lotion for sensitive and dry skin. Salcura products are created using only the highest quality of natural oils, vitamins and minerals, they contain no nasty chemicals neither are they tested on animals.

The star ingredient in the Body Hydrator is Sea Buckthorn Oil which helps to calm and soothe skin and reduce inflammation making it a great body lotion for those with sensitive skin or eczema.

Salcura Body Hydrator is a yellow coloured lotion which turns white when it is massaged into the skin. It has quite a strong sweet fragrance for a natural product but it’s not an unpleasant one and it fades quite a lot after a few minutes on the skin. The body lotion feels quite refreshing on the skin and I even used it in place of aftersun lotion last week when I caught the sun on my shoulders as it’s so nourishing and hydrating.

I’ve been having more showers than usual during the recent hot weather and this Body Hydrator from Salcura has really helped prevent my skin from drying out. I’m in the process of replacing all of my regular bodycare products with natural alternatives and this one will definitely be in the mix. I don’t suppose it seems particularly cheap when compared with its non-natural counterparts on the shelves in Boots and supermarkets but it is quite a big 200ml tube and it will last quite a while.

Overall I would say this is a good body lotion, made all the better by the fact that it’s made from natural ingredients. Salcura are definitely worth a try if you have problem or sensitive skin.

Body Hydrator is priced at £12.99 for 200ml, available from Salcura.
