How to earn £100,000 from your blog

It may look like things have been pretty quiet here at Beauty Best Friend for the past few weeks, but actually big things are afoot! I’ve been taking Emma Drew’s Turn Your Dreams Into Money blogging course, and I have to say it’s really changed the way I look at blogging.
I’ve been blogging for over 4 years now and whilst I know a little bit about lots of aspects of blogging I really wanted my blog to work a lot harder for me and…. well…. start earning me a bit of money. It sounds wrong to say it out loud. Ultimately I started writing Beauty Best Friend because I enjoy talking about make-up, but given all the time and effort that I put into it I thought it would be nice to start earning some real money from it. I’ve used affiliate links and Google AdSense for a good while now but never really put much thought into it and I’d only earned a few pounds here and there…. until now! But Emma’s course has taught me loads of really useful hints and tips that I’ve put in place and not only is my blog traffic increasing but I’m also starting to make money from my blog!
I was so excited when I got a place on Turn Your Dreams Into Money, I had been waiting for it to be released and the first places sold out in just 90 minutes!
Who is Emma Drew?
Turn Your Dreams Into Money has been created by money blogger Emma Drew. Emma is a true blogging guru, she’s been blogging for over 7 years and earns a 6 figure sum from her blog EmmaDrew.info. She manages several successful Facebook Groups and is regularly seen in the newspapers or heard on the radio talking about ways to make and save money.
What is the course?
The course contains 23 modules which go into depth about how the world of blogging works and how to make money from it. The modules include:
- How to set up a blog
- How to write a kick-ass blog post
- How to boost traffic
- How to pin like a pro
- How to build and make money from an email list
- How to make money from passive advertising
- Affiliate marketing and how to make more sales
- Sponsored posts, how to source them and price them
- The importance of social media and how to make money from your audience
- How to continue to build your business
Who is the course for?
It’s basically for anyone who isn’t already making a 6 figure sum from their blog!
The first couple of modules are mainly aimed at the new blogger – either someone who hasn’t yet started their blog, or a recent start-up blogger who isn’t sure what to do next. The course explains how to plan, set up and start your blog, with step-by-step tutorials, plus a section on social media and how to set up all the channels in order to promote yourself.
The rest of the modules are aimed at both new and experienced bloggers, and that’s where it got juicy for me!
One of my favourite modules was all about Pinterest. I thought I knew Pinterest, how to use it, what to pin, etc. But I was wrong! I’ve learned how to really use Pinterest to drive traffic to my blog, how to create the perfect pin and several more secrets on how to get Pinterest to really work for me.
Another module which has been insanely useful is the Affiliate Marketing section. I’ve only just started putting some of the tips into practice and I’ve already trebled my affiliate earnings!
There are also modules on Sponsored Posts, Pricing and Adverts which I am still working my way through.
It doesn’t matter where you live either, the principles taught in the course apply wherever in the world you are.
How do I take the course?
One of the best things about the course is that it’s online and your can do it in your own time, and take the modules in whatever order you choose. There is also full support from Emma and the rest of the students in the dedicated Facebook Group.
What else do I get from the course?
There are also some amazing extras too:
- Access to the Turn Your Dreams Into Money dedicated Facebook Group where Emma is always on hand for advice and it’s great to get support from the other students who come from a wide range of blogging niches – value £200
- Fortnightly Facebook live sessions with Emma answering your questions – value £200

I’m seriously excited now about where my blog can take me, and I love the thought that my blog is earning me a passive income – it’s basically making me money while I sleep! Turn Your Dreams Into Money has given me so much motivation and it’s great to see my blog stats doing so well. Since starting the course my affiliate earnings have trebled, my Twitter followers have gone up 21% (and are still continuing to increase) and Pinterest has started to drive traffic to my blog. I’ve still got a couple of modules left to finish, and several plans still to put in place to further supercharge my earnings and get my blog working even smarter for me.
What if I take the course and I’m not happy?
Emma offers a 100% guaranteed refund if you take the course and you’re not happy after 30 days. But if my experience is anything to go by I think you will be very happy!

UPDATE 14th August 2017 – a couple of people have been in touch to ask me if I was offered the course for free in order to review it. This was not the case, I paid for the course out of my own money and I made back the cost of the course after just a couple of weeks, after putting into place everything I’ve learned. And this is just the start for me!
