Ciate – Paint Pots in Pocket Money
How stunning do Ciate Paint Pots look with their unique bottle shape and little black bow?! This is Pocket Money, and it’s the first Ciate nail polish that I ever purchased. Ciate (pronounced ‘See-are-tey’) is a London brand and they’re always bringing out innovative new nail products including their recent Shell Manicure whereby you sprinkle a layer of shimmery crushed shells directly onto a layer of wet nail polish. Check out the Ciate website to view their full range of nail polishes and special effects.
Pocket Money is a creamy caramel colour with quite a glossy finish – very chic, it’s one of my favourites and I always receive nice comments when I’m wearing it. The brush is made up of 250 bristles and is flat and wide which means that it takes less strokes to apply the polish across the whole nail and makes it quicker and easier to get a neat finish.
As I’ve already mentioned I love Ciate’s packaging, the uniquely shaped bottles are set off by the simple black bow making them look different from any other nail polish bottle.
I applied two coats of the Pocket Money nail polish, you could probably get away with one coat if you’re in a rush though as it’s really pigmented and opaque. I topped off my Pocket Money manicure with a little silver sparkly bow nail sticker, it’s a really quick and easy way to do nail art without any painting or leaving to dry!
Pocket Money is from Ciate’s creme collection and is priced at £9, available from Ciate.
