Bobbi Brown Blush in Slopes Review

This Bobbi Brown pressed powder Blush in the shade Slopes was given to me by a friend who had bought it and then decided it wasn’t the right shade for her. I’ve been a huge Bobbi Brown make-up fan for a long time, I love the sleek black packaging and all of the products that I’ve tried have been of a really high quality.

I regularly use the Shimmer Bricks and pressed Bronzing Powder and I now have quite a collection of Bobbi Brown make-up brushes, they’re so amazingly soft! Although Bobbi Brown brush prices have risen dramatically within the last few years –  almost £40 for a Bronzer Brush, really?

Bobbi Brown Blush in Slopes

Slopes is a lovely natural dusky rose pink colour that gives a natural flush to the cheeks. The Bobbi Brown make-up philosophy is all around enhancing what you already have and bringing out your natural beauty, and this pressed powder blush does that perfectly. The colour is quite subtle and you will need to build it up gradually with a few sweeps if you want a bolder blush colour, but I think Bobbi Brown Blush in Slopes is perfect for a pale complexion like mine and also a great shade for a darker complexion but you would need to apply more.

Bobbi Brown Blush in Slopes Swatch

The swatch image above shows that Slopes is a lovely natural blush colour, perfect for a natural ‘no make-up’ look. It’s a matt colour with no shimmer – if you want shimmer leave that to Bobbi Brown Shimmer Bricks!

Bobbi Brown Blush is available in 19 different shades, which range from Desert Pink (the palest pink) to New Poppy (a deep red perfect for darker skins).

Bobbi Brown Blush in Slopes With Brush

I apply this Blush with my Bobbi Brown Face Blender Brush, which I absolutely love! I own two of these, it’s a lovely soft brush perfect for adding blush or shimmer to the cheeks.

Bobbi Brown Blush in Slopes in priced at £19.50, available from the Bobbi Brown website. The Bobbi Brown Face Blender Brush is priced at £33, also available from the Bobbi Brown website.

  1. This looks like a lovely natural-looking blush/ bronzer, which I’m always on the look out for. I’m not a fan of OTT and bright blush shades as it’s never been a product I’ve become so accustomed too. Would probably look perfect on pale skin too!

  2. Such a pretty, versatile shade! Nice pick 🙂

  3. I love this colour! It looks such a lovely deep shade of pink and really subtle for a summer glow.

  4. I am a big fan of Bobbi Brown blushes too. This shade is so pretty, it looks so subtle and flattering! One of my favourites is Brown Berry, it’s also fairly neutral and very wearable. I know what you mean about the brushes though – I have quite a few, and I do love them, but it’s a shame they keep hiking the prices! x
